At DSNR MAG, we not only want to stimulate your eyes with amazing visuals, but also hopefully stimulate your brain and pockets. Today we are highlighting something that has become a craze in the social media and art world. Yes, it’s NFTs. NFTs stands for Non-Fungible Tokens, which are pieces of digital content linked to the blockchain. Meaning its a One of a Kind. Only one owner can have it on the blockchain, which means the entire digital world…of the internet. I hope that was a little comprehensive. Here is a quote from BBC explaining further: NFTs are "one-of-a-kind" assets in the digital world that can be bought and sold like any other piece of property, but which have no tangible form of their own. The digital tokens can be thought of as certificates of ownership for virtual or physical assets.
What can be sold as an NFT?
Literally anything that has value to a consumer can be sold as an NFT. Digital Art, Music, a Funny Meme, an In-Game Item, etc etc etc. It’s all about the creator and what they can imagine and bring to the table. Brands and companies are taking full advantage of this, and are innovating in the NFT space.
